Inter school footstool

This week on Tuesday we went to inter school footstool!
Going to inter school footstool was a amazing experience. One thing that I thought was cool about footstool was that the New Zealand's MENS FOOTSTOOL team came over and we got to get our bags sighed by them which was amazing.

Reading week 5

this week for Reading we were learning about endangered New Zealand animals and insects, so I chose the Canterbury Knobbled weevil witch is the most rarest insect in NZ. A AMAZING fact is that it was thought to be extinct in 1924 but was rediscovered in 2004!

Reading week 2

For reading this week we were learning about adaptions and ecosystems as well as how possums are killing our native plants and birds. I also learnt that possums were introduced to New Zealand in 1837 and have increased a lot.

Measurement week

This week our maths task was to measure our court because we are getting a AstroTurf court.
We had to measure our court in meters as well as square meters.
Also this we learnt about Perimeter and Area, If you don't know what it means Perimeter is when you are adding all the sides together and area is when you are times the perimeter.
